When, for some reason, you have to fly with your pet, or your pet has to be sent on a flight without you, you have to make sure you follow aviation protocols for pet flights, so that you can be granted the chance to avail of a flight where you and/or your pet can be comfortably flying towards your destination.
Pet flights are kind of tiresome, because, there are a lot of requirements that you have to present in order for you to be granted a flight. Besides the paper requirements, you also have to provide the proper pet cargo. The cargo crate has to be in accordance to the rules of the airline you plan to buy a ticket from. You also have to make sure that your pet is medically conditioned to fly inside a plane. Only well-groomed pets will have the chance to travel, to prevent any disease contamination between other animals and pets taking the flight, and of course, to prevent diseases from reaching human passengers.
Why all the hassle?

I, for one, sometimes get sad whenever I have to think about the many things I have to comply in order to have my dog experience flying. Since I love flying, I would also love it if my pets could experience the adventures with me. But of course, at the end of the day, we all have to understand that these are rules set for everybody’s protection, including our pets.
This is why, as hard as it gets, I always make sure to comply with the requirements. I even went as far read about excellent info on dog insurance so that I could find one that fits the needs of my dog. He is as adventurous as I am so I make sure that no matter what happens, my pet will be insured and we will have compensation for his medication and other needs if something unfortunate should ever happen.
Some may think that it is evil to think ill of others, even your pets. However, considering an insurance for your pet, as well as your self and your family, is not something evil. In fact, it shows you care enough to make certain nobody gets too damaged financially, when something worse comes. It is better to be prepared than to be sorry.
Of course, we will have to make sure that we are always safe so that bad things won’t happen. It is just good to know that you did what you could to make sure that everybody, even pets, are in great care.
