JetBlue Offers Free Flight to Nowhere

Want a trip to nowhere?  JetBlue Airways Corp. is now offering this opportunity to 1,000 of its frequent flyers to test out its baggage check and security systems at its new JFK airport terminal, which is set to open in September.
As part of the test, the frequent flyers are to show up at JFK on August 23, check baggage given to them  by the airline, go through security, and wait at their assigned gate for their imaginary "flight" they came for.
You say, why would 1,000 frequent flyers waste their time at the expense of a measly airline?  Well JetBlue is offering incentives, from free parking at the airport to free lunch.  I'm not sure if the free parking is only for the day of the event or for some vouchers for use in the future...either way, that is probably not a way I would want to spend my day.
For those willing 1,000, just hope your imaginary flight does not turn into a lock-in like some previous JetBlue travelers.
